Ultrasonic Sealing

Ultrasonic Sealing is achieved with high frequency acoustic vibrations applied to a plastic or coated paper valve sack to create a solid weld.

This type of sealing will seal through product as it moves the product while sealing.

The top part of the sealer anvil attaches to a transducer which produces the frequency. The anvil is manufactured from a solid piece of titanium. The bottom tooling is stainless steel rod.

Autopak can supply the sealer either as a completely automated device attached to the bag support or as a manual stand alone sealer.

With the stand alone sealer the operator places the valve through a letter box, presses a button and the valve is sealed.

Both sealers can be used on our complete range of valve sack fillers.
