Tetrosyl Limited is the largest manufacturer and supplier of car care products in Europe and is the UK’s biggest independent oil blender extending its global reach to 100 countries. Their product ranges include Valeting, Winter, Crash Repair, Automotive Parts, Paint and a Home Improvement range.
Tetrosyl approached Autopak to find a solution for bagging their car body filler powders. Their existing setup was operating at a low speed and needed updating. We installed a system consisting of big bag dischargers on load cells, rip and tip station, aeromechanical conveyor for additives, a network of auger conveyors, a 2100L horizontal mixer, storage hoppers , form fill and seal machines and checkweighers.
The new system was made by our specialist design and engineering team in our workshop in Nottinghamshire and will treble throughput for Tetrosyl.
